Other Info:
The track was laid as a grass one in 1991 with a synthetic HJ area and JT runway laid by Recreation Services Ltd. The full synthetic track was built in 1993. It is owned by Rugby Borough Council. The clubhouse of Rugby & District AC is at the track. The HJ area can be also be for netball as a court is marked out. A 2nd throwing cage, a 2nd SP circle and spectator seating were added in 1999. However only one cage was in operation in summer 2002. Rugby Borough Council had apparently agreed to add cover for the seating within 18 months but by 2002 this cover was not evident.
