Other Info:
The stadium was first used for athletics on 29th October 1953. It was privately owned by the Maccabi Union who built a football stadium with a cinder running track around it and was located in Hall Lane, near Fiveways Corner in Hendon. It was sometimes used by Shaftesbury Harriers. The track went out of use in about 1963 as the M1 was built over it.
