South London Harriers used this track between 1892 and 1893 after moving from The Balham Grounds on Oldridge Road. The track was thought to be 5 laps to the mile and probably grass but there is a near rectangular track marked on an OS map of the period. However on a 1872 map, Hyde Farm is shown with no track but on the 1913 map Hyde Farm was built over but a Hyde Farm Club is marked.
