Other Info:
The track was built in about 1956 and was just across the road from the Gas works but was demolished in the late 1980s to make for the A650 dual carriageway between Crossflatts and Keighley. It was the former home of Bingley Harriers. Open meetings and West Yorkshire League matches and Yorkshire Championships were held here in the 1960s and 70s. It had become rather run down by about 1975 when Bingley Harriers stopped using it. It never had a steeplechase water jump. There are now all-weather pitches in the approximate area of the track to the side and south of the A650.
