Other Info:
The 'Mondo' track and sports centre were opened on 16 Nov 1977 by Duke of Edinburgh. The track was last resurfaced in 1993 with Polytan PUR. In October 1997, Wycombe Phoenix H & AC made a proposal to provide indoor facilities, floodlights and covered seating but the plans stalled due to the local council's uncertainty over the long-term future of the Sports Centre. The land is owned by 'housing' and there are possible thoughts of relocating the whole facility elsewhere.
