Other Info:
The track opened in about 1986 and has an Avon synthetic surface but is now very badly worn and is no longer officially open to the public. However as it is not fenced it can still be used for casual running. It is adjacent to an all-weather football stadium which is the other 'arena' and was the site of the original cinder Feltham Arena. The track was home to Borough of Hounslow AC but they moved to Eton when they merged with Windsor, Slough & Eton AC in 2001. As of 2012, the track still exists but is in a derelict state and in this state is featured in the opening sequences of the Fast Girls movie. The pictures of the track were taken in 2001 shortly after it ceased to be in regular usage.
