Other Info:
The track was reopened on 2nd October 1999 by the Mayor of Cheltenham and Alison Curbishley after the track surface had been resurfaced with Polytan PUR at a cost of 185,000. Thanks to donations of 1,800, the stadium has its own Seiko electronic timing equipment. The infield is the rugby pitch of Cheltenham RFC. The adjacent Recreation Centre used to be called Pittville Sports Centre.
