Other Info:
The track was demolished in 1997 to make way for housing and the new Chelmsley Wood synthetic track was built about 200 yards from this one. It was situated roughly where Fencote Avenue is now. It was associated with North Solihull Sports Centre which was also moved. In its later days it was reported to vary between being like 'concrete' in the summer and a swamp in the winter.
