Other Info:
The track was funded by a £3,106,741 Lottery Sports Fund award in Nov 2001 to build a new regional athletics training and indoor leisure centre next to the outdoor track. It has 3 floors - one for an 82m straight (to allow for 60m races), one for throws training and one for 5-a-side football. It opened in early 2003. The first meeting to be held here was the Surrey county indoor champs on 3rd Mar 2003. The whole facility is managed by GLL.
