Other Info:
The stadium and track opened in September 1958. It was home of Billingham Games/BMC races/"B" Internationals etc. until the early 1980s. An advert for North Yorkshire & South Durham League & BMC races in 1981 states that track was still 440y at time. The ground is the home of Billingham Synthonia Football Club. The track is reported to be in a poor state of repair but Billingham Marsh House Harriers have a medium term plan to upgrade the track to a standard where it could be used for meetings again.
