Other Info:
The track is or at least was known as Paisley Park but the ground is now more commonly known as the Albert Foundry Recreation Ground and the football pitch of Albert Foundry FC is in the infield. Meetings used to take here but clearly not for some time. The track is in poor condition and the inside lane is partially overgrown. Virtually all the field-event facilities have been grassed over or removed. The outline of a runway inside the track down the home straight can be seen. The track is a narrow 6 lanes all round as the width is about a third of a metre short of 6 normal lanes. The ground is in the locality of Springmartin.
