Other Info:
The stadium opened in 1990 and staged the World Student Games in 1991 and is the largest athletics stadium in the UK. There is an indoor straight underneath the main stand. The infield is used by Sheffield FC who are reported to be the oldest football club in the world. The National Indoor Athletics Centre is planned to be built adajcent to the stadium.
