Other Info:
The track has been synthetic for some time and was resurfaced with Polytan WS in 1996. It was on MoD land although since 2000 it has been managed by the local council from the Mayflower Leisure Centre. £30K worth of work was done in April 2002 to enable the track to get a training certificate which has since upgraded to a full one. In 2003, funding from Sport England was awarded to improve facilities including floodlights which will enable all year round training.
