Other Info:
This a 100m oval track is on a gallery around a basketball court and has banked corners with several alcoves containing sit up stations. It is believed to be about 2 lanes wide on the straights although there are no lane markings and has a smooth synthetic surface. It is situated within the YClub which is the sports and fitness facility of the Manchester YMCA. It is within Castlefield Hotel, Liverpool Road, MANCHESTER, M3 4JR which is where the Manchester YMCA have been based since 1990. There used to be a similar oval track at the old YMCA building on Peter Street in Manchester's City Centre next to the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza Midland Hotel. It was however thought to have slightly less tight geometry and less banking and probably a bit longer than 100m.
