Other Info:
The track was apparently built when Manchester United FC were involved with the local athletic club who changed their name to Manchester United Salford AC. That deal fell through but the track remains and the club are now called Salford Metropolitan AC. The surface is reported to be very good and is usually very quiet. There is a manned office at the track.
