The track is a polymeric 100m sprint track and is incorporated within an articifical football pitch. It is part of the Tulligarth Community Leisure Complex and the track & complex opened on 2nd April 2002. The complex is part of Lornshill Academy so hence is closed during school hours. There is also a 320m cinder blaes oval track at the facility.
